Terms of Service

1. Service Description

EchoUploader is a decentralized file-pinning interface that relays your files to IPFS via Pinata. EchoForge acts as a pinning intermediary; we do not store file content on our own servers beyond the transit buffer required to complete the pin. A separate ANCHOR feature lets you record a file's SHA-256 hash on-chain without uploading the file itself.

2. Payments and Subscriptions

Subscription fees are paid on-chain in ADA, billed monthly or annually. Prices are anchored in USD and converted to ADA at the prevailing oracle rate at the time of payment. Payments are final and non-refundable once confirmed on the Cardano blockchain.

We reserve the right to adjust subscription pricing. Any price change will be communicated at least 14 days before it takes effect.

3. Prohibited Content

You may not upload content that:

• — violates any applicable law or regulation;
• — infringes intellectual property rights of any third party;
• — constitutes malware, exploits, or harmful code;
• — contains child sexual abuse material (CSAM) or any other content that sexually exploits minors;
• — is designed to facilitate fraud, phishing, or identity theft.

We may remove pinned content and terminate accounts that violate these restrictions at our sole discretion, without refund.

4. Decentralised Nature of IPFS

Once a file is pinned to IPFS, its content-addressed hash becomes publicly accessible on the peer-to-peer network. EchoForge cannot guarantee the removal of content from third-party IPFS nodes. You are responsible for ensuring any content you pin is lawful and that you have the right to publish it.

5. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, EchoForge is not liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service, including loss of data, loss of ADA, or service downtime.

6. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Service after the effective date of any revision constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.

7. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which EchoForge is registered, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
