Cookie Policy
Effective date: 15 July 2026 · EchoForge
EchoUploader does not set browser cookies. It uses Local Storage and the BroadcastChannel API for session continuity and cross-tab identity syncing. None of these mechanisms are used for advertising or cross-site tracking.
Storage We Use
| Key | Type | Purpose | Expires |
|---|---|---|---|
| echoUploader:locale | Local Storage | Stores your preferred display language between sessions. | Persistent |
| echoUploader:identity | Local Storage | Caches your last-connected wallet address so your file list loads on page refresh, before the wallet extension reconnects. | Persistent |
| echoUploader:selectedOrg | Local Storage | Remembers which organization you last selected in Org mode. | Persistent |
| echo-sync-v1 | BroadcastChannel | Relays your EchoID tier and identity/spend events between open EchoForge tabs. In-memory only. | Session |
| echo:event-queue | Local Storage | Short buffer (max 30 events) that lets an identity-sync event survive a page reload before it is delivered. | Persistent |
We do not set any advertising or analytics cookies, and EchoUploader does not use browser cookies at all — session authentication is proven per-request via your wallet's CIP-30 signature, not a stored session token.
Managing Storage
You can clear Local Storage at any time through your browser settings. Doing so will forget your last-connected wallet and language preference — you will need to reconnect your wallet and re-select any organization on your next visit. The BroadcastChannel data is automatically cleared when you close all EchoForge tabs.
